As an active member in the Clarksdale community, Managing Principal, Shaw Johnson III has served as past President of the Coahoma County Chamber of Commerce. He is currently a member of the Industrial Foundation and Board Member of the First United Methodist Church.

Shaw Johnson III is a fourth generation leader to serve the insurance industry. He has served the Independent Insurance Agents of Mississippi as the 2012-2013 Chairman and Chairman of the Young Agents 2000. He has also served on the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America Young Agents Committee in 2001 as well as the 1997 President of the Yazoo Delta Agents Association. The J. H. Johnson Award is named in honor of Shaw’s great-grandfather and is the highest award given by Independent Insurance Agents of Mississippi.
